Who are the Eastern Visayas Covid-19 Fighters?

During this difficult and challenging times, when an imminent threat is before us, one that has the potential to wipe-out an entire generation, I have witnessed mortals come together to form a team to combat COVID-19 head-on. I am grateful for what they've been doing and what they're still about to do, but who are they?

You know what? Let's ditch the names and focus on what they have done!

As of today, April 10, 2020, the EV COVID-19 WARRIORS have raised 700,000 pesos in cash through different fund raising through all channels and platforms available, they have received goods with an estimated worth of 120,000 pesos. With all the help they have received from around the world, they have sent help to over 150 plus RHUs and Hospitals in Eastern Visayas.

I'll take you to a photo gallery walk!

First photo was taken in Calbayog, with the facade of Calbayog District Hospital in sight. They were given boxes of clean gloves and face shields.

Second photo is from San Gorge Rural Health Unit.

Third is from Taft District Hospital

Hernani, Eastern Samar! They used it for their frontliners such as their police team and BHERTs.

As a nursing student years ago, I used to do clinical rotations in Carigara District Hospital and it made me happy seeing that they received help from this team.

Pinabacdao Rural Health Unit received help as well. You can't see it but I bet they're smiling behind those masks and faceshields!

Norhtern Samar Provincial Hospital is one of the recipients too!

Private hospitals such as Catarman Doctors Hospital Incorporated were happy to have acquired donations from the COVID warriors as well

A birthing clinic in Jaro, Leyte.

Albino M. Duran Memorial Hospital received 30 face shields

If you wish to make a donation, here is how:

There are plenty of donations that did not make it to this article but one thing is for sure, the EV COVID Fighters will not stop, with the grace of God and the generosity of His people, we will all make it through this.
