San Juanico Bridge

San Juanico Bridge, about 15 minutes away north of Tacloban City, is a 2.16-kilometer long S-shaped span connecting the islands of Leyte and Samar.  

Calvary Hill

Overlooking the city and San Juanico Strait, Calvary Hill, is where larger-than-life statues of Jesus Christ and other personages, in tableaux, depicting Christ’s sacrifice and suffrings.  

Boy Scout Monument

Erected in 1941,  right in the center of the Fatima Village round about stands a life-size statue of the world’s first Boy Scout Monument in human form.  

Tacloban City Convention Center

New to the city skyline is the Tacloban City Convention Center. Popularly known as the astrodome, i is the venue of the basketball tourneys and other sporting activities, concerts and other big gatherings.  

Sto. Niño Shrine and Heritage Museum

Built from 1979 to 1981, the Sto. Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum is a showcase of Filipino ingenuity. On Display are collection of art objects, priceless furniture’s, fine porcelain, ivory sculptures of local and foreign origin.
